Rehab Services Office Clerk

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an Office Clerk for the Rehab complex.
This position is PRN (as needed), 16 hrs/wk.
The Office Clerk assumes a support role in the delivery of office services to the entire Rehab complex.
This includes but is not limited to telephone management, insurance verification, pre-authorization of therapy services, scheduling of patients, billing for services rendered, patient chart maintenance, and ensuring a safe and effective work environment.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
High School graduate Health care experience, preferably at least 6 months SKILLS:
Strong verbal and written skills and limited public speaking abilities.
Computer operational skills Time management skills Self motivated and directed Multi-task capability Communication skills Limited analytical and problem solving skills Tact and diplomacy in dealing with others AGE SPECIFIC COMPENTENCIES:
Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and behaviors appropriate to the population(s) served, and based on specific criteria and/or age specific considerations, as follows:
Exhibits communication skills necessary to interpret response to situations/treatments encountered in Rehab Medicine Must be able to communicate effectively with all age groups in Rehab Medicine Demonstrates ability to work effectively with all patients and staff members in Rehab Medicine Recommended Skills Analytical Billing Communication Diplomacy Hardworking And Dedicated Health Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
